"Confinement Bay" is inspired by Hong Kong's Penny's Bay Facility during COVID-19. Feelings of isolation are depicted through materials, composition, and colour, showcasing humans' innate desire for connection.

"Confinement Bay" was awarded a Silver Medal (top 1.5%) in the 2026 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
