"Snapshots of Today" is inspired by Shu Ren Cheng's "Snapshots of History" mural in Vancouver's Chinatown. The depicted contrast between past and present calls for urgent community action.

"Snapshots of Today" was awarded a Silver Key (top 10%) in the 2025 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
